Romney fleece can be white or range from black to light gray and browns. Fiber can be fine or medium coarse, with a well defined and uniform crimp. Wool can be soft enough for next to skin garments but often works better as the second layer. Think cardigans, cowls, mittens, hats and socks.

Wool is sourced and spun in eastern Iowa
