A “marl” is a yarn spun while keeping two distinct, but similar, colors separate and visible. In this yarn there is a shade of brown and cream.

Fleeces are fine with a long staple, lots of springiness and loft. it is now common to see a range of natural colors, from black through grays to white. Use for next to skin garments; sweaters and shawls.
