Choose Your Adventure Cowl!
Choose Your Adventure Cowl! Just like the paperbacks where you could turn to a certain page and read an alternative ending, this pattern gives you choices!
Straight Forward: a stockinette cowl with stripes and a rolled edge. Cowl has 82 rows, a height of 10.75 inches and a diameter of 16 inches . The cowl requires switching colors, trapping yarn behind work to carry the non-working color and jogless stripe changes. (Sample is in Sunshine and Turquoise)
Jump Forward: this cowl is higher in the back, 75 rows, 7 inches, and lower in the front, 56 rows, 5 inches. The change in height requires working several short rows. This cowl requires switching colors, use the jogless stripe changes, trapping yarn behind work to carry the non-working color and working wrap and turn short rows. The diameter of the cowl is 11.5 inches. (Sample is in Aubergine and Lilac)
Forward!: If you would like to design your own stripe sequence, use the graph paper to experiment with color combinations. Grab a few crayons or colored pencils and create your own stripe sequence to use for Straight Forward or Jump Forward.
